Nice preview Dane! I thought for sure you might pick WKU over the Cats this year with Ky’s poor performance against WKU last year. The excitement of the championship basketball season will be a distant memory as the Cat’s struggle to improve on the football field in the fall! Oh well, there is always another basketball season to follow!

Thanks for the read, Yes I heard about those shirts. I need to run in it. I had planned to attend but last second had a change of plans. Also, Love the thought on the vandals running the race. Surely that will be the only way they can beat Pete!

I was on campus that day with my BSU bound son. While the ‘I Beat Coach Pete’ shirts were prevalent we also saw several ‘I’ll Beat Coach Pete Next Year’ shirts. Definitely putting this event on my calendar for next year. Nice article, thank you!
