About Us

OnCampusSports.com is a Web-based, interactive college sports publication written from the perspective of college students. In addition to publishing engaging, high-interest articles covering all men’s and women’s sports, the site will offer many features such as game previews, game picks, Pop Quiz question of the day, game diaries, interactive chat sessions, fans zone, and much more.

Readers of On Campus Sports will become part of a community following their favorite college teams, and will be entertained by the unique campus-level perspective. Readers will visit On Campus Sports for more than just college sports news and opinion – they’ll visit to become part of the college experience.

The founders of OCS were all college students at one time or another (a couple were students long before the others) and we all worked as college Interns along the way. We remember the challenges of finding work right out of college and want to give students every possible advantage. Recognizing how competitive the job market is, and appreciating how critical it is to add relevant work experience to your resume, we are proud to offer Internship programs for writers, editors, photographers, and business students.

It is important to us that student Interns develop their skills while working for On Campus Sports. We have created a rubric that will allow us to evaluate each journalist, piece by piece, for as long as they write for OCS. Professional editors are in place to provide coaching, leadership, and constant evaluation, while recent graduates are on board to serve as mentors. We offer performance-based incentives to Interns who improve and excel during their time with OCS.
